Selling the house...

I'm sitting here listening to my husband argue with our realtor about selling the house. The focus is on how much we should list the house for so that we can afford to buy a house in Colorado. I'm fairly certain that it doesn't really matter right now. We are in the spot right now where we HAVE to sell this one and move out there...even if that means we have to rent something and save up the money...

How difficult does this have to be?

I'm too tired to even think about this right now...I'm trusting that the Lord will take care of us - he always does...

For My Mom...

We went to my cousin's open house today and watched her and her new husband open up their gifts. My mom got this great gift bag for her so I shot of video of them opening it to show Mom. What I didn't get is Michelle saying how much she loved the bag. In fact, she was packing it up with other stuff after they opened all of their gifts and was getting ready to put it all together to take on their honeymoon.

Minnesota Fun!

Okay - so Troy said I am in trouble because I haven't been posting much. I will try to do better...promise :o)


So we went this evening to my cousin's wedding. We got a couple of great photos of my Mom's sisters and dad as well as all of the grand children, great grand children, and spouses.

I Bet...

Y'all thought I have fallen off the face of the earth. Nope - but slipped out for a while!

In case you haven't heard the news, Mike and I are moving to Colorado. I have accepted an Area IT Manager position out there. I start my new job on February 18 so it is going to be a VERY quick turn around. We need to sell the house so if you know of anyone in need of a cute little place in Missouri, let me know! I will be staying with friends in Colorado Springs until we can wrap things up here and Mike and the dogs can join me. If we could afford to rent and pay a mortgage, I would get a place but...

I'm headed to Colorado this evening to get acquainted with everyone and check out the area...wish us luck!

Basketball

This weekend, we are enjoying time with Family in Nebraska since we didn't get to at Christmas. We arrived early enough last evening to be able to take in an Osmond High School girl's basketball game; one in which my neice got to play quite a bit. I took pictures but the lighting in the gym is bad and all of the shaking on the bleachers - most of them are blurry. However, I did get some video. She is number 42 - you can see her steal the ball under the basket:

They won the game 28 to 21. We had a great time and it was nice to finally be able to see her play. The team is in the finals of the tournement this evening so we may be going again. I'm sure I'll have more pictures and video if so.

For now, I'm going to go hang out and enjoy the vacation day and what little time we have in the snowy tundra!

50 Pounds of Fun

My mom sent me a picture yesterday and I just found it quite amuzing:



Yes, that is my 50-pound Sedona in my arms like the little baby girl that she is. No wonder I'm getting a bad back...how do mothers do it??

I have some Starbucks to drink and some cookies to bake so more at another time.
