Christmas with Ella!

Well, Christmas has come and gone. Don't worry though, we have the memories as well as the photos to prove it! I'm going to start by posting the video of my neice, Ella. She was passing out the presents to everyone. She just kept saying she wanted more presents for her at first. Her Mom kept telling her that she needed to wait until all of the presents had been passed out. This video is where she says that we need to wait for all of the presents:

I have more but I think I will tease everyone for a while. This will have to tide you over for now...

All About Bras...

A man walked into the ladies department of aMacy's and shyly walked up to the woman behind the counter and said, 'I'd liketo buy a bra for my wife.'

'What type of bra?' asked the clerk.

'Type?' inquires the man, 'There's more than one type?'

'Look around,' said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in everyshape, size, color and material imaginable.

'Actually, even with all of this variety, thereare really only four types of bras to choose.'
Relieved, the man asked about the types.

The saleslady replied:

'There are the Catholic, the Salvation Army, the Presbyterian, and the Baptisttypes. Which one would you prefer?'

Now totally befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them.

The Saleslady responded, 'It is all really quite simple... '

The Catholic type supports the masses.
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen,
The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright, and
The Baptist makes mountains out of mole hills.

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used to define bra sizes?

{A} Almost Boobs...
{B} Barely there.
{C} Can't Complain!
{D} Dang!
{DD} Double dang!
{E} Enormous!
{F} Fake.
{G} Get a Reduction.
{H} Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up!

I hope your husband was at Victoria's Secret finding you the perfect size!!

Merry Christmas!!

With 2 days before Christmas, REMEMBER:

Jesus is BETTER than Santa –

Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever- present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, what’s your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

JESUS has a heart full of love.
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree,
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put CHRIST back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008
And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year 2009

Christmas Came Early!

Mike's mom and step-dad sent our gifts to us a little early. I'm thinking I can't give too many details yet but let's just say it was totally cool in my opinion. One of those gifts that will be even better in about 10 years...

On another note, I'm looking for the last quarter in the State quarter series...Hawaii. Then, I will have a complete set! That's another one of those things that will give back in a few years...

I'll give more details on what we got after Christmas so I don't ruin anything for anyone...

The Doghouse

This cracked me up; mostly because my anniversary present this year was indeed a vacuum. I never thought about putting Mike in the doghouse for it though - it's what I REALLY wanted! To avoid in the future though...

Off to bed I go!

Celtic Thunder

I was told the other day I have forgotten about my blog...not forgotten, just a short sebatical!

Mike's mom gave us tickets to Celtic Thunder for Christmas. The concert was last evening and it was quite amazing! While not at all what we expected, we still had a wonderful time. I was quite amazed by the youngest member of the group:

I also really enjoyed this song:

You can see a little of all of the show here:

What I tried to find was some of the drummer music they did but I can't seem to track any of it down. Let's just say the band playing at the end when all of the singers left the stage at the end was truly my favorite!

Enjoy!
