Ho Ho Ho!!

I haven't blogged in a VERY long time...just because I am sooooooo busy studying for my A+ Certification. The good news...I have passed the hardware portion of the exam...half way there! I WILL PASS THIS TEST!!

Anyway...I decorated for the Christmas holiday today while I watched the Chiefs lose a nail-biter to the Cowboys (he only has one job...to kick the ball...he is paid millions of dollars a year to kick a ball...I think one KC Chiefs kicker will be looking for a new job after this season...). It looks great but the best part was that my husband was home to share in the fun. He has been out of town for going on three weeks now (and he had to leave shortly after the game to head out again). Even though he just sat and watched for most of it, it was nice to have him here to share it with!

Remember When?

Okay...don't make fun of me...I just went down and pulled out my wedding dress. I was looking at photos for work and I came across our wedding photos. I was looking at my face and thinking..."I looked fat". Then, it popped into my head that I weigh less now than I did when I got married...I wonder if my dress will still fit. I guess I should let everyone know that my plan is to renew my vows with my husband at 10 years and I would like to be able to wear the same dress...I guess I would have to have it resized...it's a little too big. It isn't bad too big...because of the design of the dress...but size 16 is a little extreme for someone that has managed to make it down to a size 10...

I am NOT complaining...just pointing out a cool fact...

Another One??

Good Lord! When will the insanity end?? Everyone I know is getting pregnant ~ not that it's a bad thing, but everyone wants to know when we will be popping one out...The answer to that is that we just enjoy practicing ~ the child part will not be happening any time soon!

Now, the real reason for this post ~ my younger brother called me the other day to let me know they are expecting their first the end of March next year! I'm sooooooooo excited! He asked me if I was going to be coming to his house pretty soon to watch movies in his new theater. He said we could watch movies and knit booties. It took me about 3 times of him saying for me to figure it out. I kept saying "I don't know how to knit". DUH!!

There's your funny for the day. Now back to regular programming.
